Setting a new industry benchmark in safe pharmaceutical collection, containment and disposal.

We understand the need for safe and efficient pharmaceutical waste management in Denver. Our collection systems are designed to mitigate unnecessary risk for healthcare practitioners and the public in the containment, disposal, transport, and destruction of pharmaceutical waste.

We handle all forms of pharmaceutical waste, Non-Hazardous, Hazardous, Controlled Substances and chemotherapy, and offer a full line of containers from 1 pint to 55 gallons allowing us to customize the container size to your needs.

Non-Hazardous

The bulk of all medications are classified as non-hazardous pharmaceutical waste. Our use of reusable containers helps reduce landfill volumes, and are available from 2 gallons up to 38-gallons

Hazardous

RCRA / Hazardous drugs are P, U and D listed based on the type and level of hazard to both the environment and humans. We will help properly identify your hazardous pharmaceuticals so they can be separated from your general medications and handled appropriately.

Controlled Substances

Schedule I, II, II, IV and V narcotics require a different level of waste management due to the risk of diversion. These drugs not only fall under the FDA, EPA, DOT and state health department regulations, they also fall under DEA regulations.

Scheduled drugs need to be rendered unusable as quickly as possible and be ultimately incinerated for complete destruction. Our controlled substance containers are contained within a wall mounted safe. The contents in the container begin breaking down as soon as they are put into the container rendering them unusable.

Full containers are removed from wall safes and transported for incineration using a strict chain of custody process from pick-up to destruction

Chemotherapy

The EPA classifies chemotherapy drugs as RCRA / Hazardous Waste and requires it be handled as such.

In addition to this anything that came into contact or could have come into contact with any chemotherapy drug is classified as trace chemotherapy waste and be handled separately from all other waste streams.

Trace chemotherapy waste must contain less than 3% chemotherapy drugs by weight. Anything over 3% is classified as Bulk Chemotherapy and is a RCRA / Hazardous waste.

We offer containers from 2 gallon to 38 gallon for trace chemotherapy and a full line of RCRA / Hazardous waste containers for Bulk Chemotherapy.
